Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.

Retinol may cause initial redness, tingling or dryness. Your skin will need time to get used to this powerful ingredient. It is recommended to introduce it gradually.
WEEK 1: Apply one pea-sized pump 2 nights per week to face, avoiding the eyelids. Use an additional pea-sized pump for the neck and decolletage. Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15 the morning after to protect skin.
WEEK 2: Apply every other night.
WEEK 3: Apply nightly as tolerated.
Avoid intentional exposure to sun and artificial UV, as skin may be more sensitive. It is normal to experience some initial redness, tingling or dryness while using Retinol. If this happens, stop using it for a few days, then use less frequently. If severe irritation develops and lasts, discontinue use and talk to your doctor. Do not use on broken/irritated skin or on eyelids or lips. Do not use in conjunction with other Retinol products.

Have noticed my skin tone is so much better than it has been in awhile and it was noticeable around the 10 day mark.
I would recommend trying to use this product before having and paying a fortune for actual Laser Therapy. I also use the L'ORÉAL Revitalift day cream every morning.
Remember you Chemist Warehouse always has 50% off sales and that's when I buy my moisturisers and serums etc!

Impressive dispensing unit and rich creamy product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clever innovative packaging is a far cry from the traditional tubs or tubes, no more using spatulas or wasting product under my fingernails. The simple pump action lid dispenses a dollop to apply to one's face and neck - once you work out if you need a hard press or subtle press. My first application was quite rigorous and I found myself applying a little too much of the cream. It took me a few applications to perfect the perfect amount that I needed. I have sensitive skin it was quite tingly, but its consistency is rich and hydrating, non-greasy and its scent reminded me of being in a beauty spa. I haven't used many retinol creams before so I didn't have any expectations, but I noticed a difference in my facial fine lines & ageing spots and the subtleness of my face and neck. I loved using this before bed at night but it did take a few weeks to get used to, although I also used the entire product which I don't normally do. After some weeks I did find it drying out my skin however my beauty advisor at Priceline suggested that I make sure to apply daily moisturiser and a serum, which I did so effectively that I feel this would be a bump addition to a weekly routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been about two weeks since I started using this night cream and my skin is looking slightly clearer and more even toned. My skin feels well hydrated and not greasy.
The instructions are very clear and straightforward to follow to help your skin build tolerance to retinol if you are new to using it. It's a good idea to follow the instructions, as I was a bit too eager and used it every day for three days and the skin on my neck became itchy. I reduced the usage to every second night and I'm not getting an itchy neck. The push dispenser is a great design to keep the product fresh and it seems more hygienic, I like how it gives the right amount. The scent is also very pleasant.
I'm looking forward to seeing how my skin will be with continued use.

L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Retinol + Niacinamide Pressed Night Cream, you are welcome in my home anytime.
Smooth on your skin instantaneously, easy to disperse from jar and apply on cleansed skin.
Serious users, it does and I mean it does definitely work, you just have to give this cream and their range a chance to work. You definitely see a slight difference within the 2 weeks, but continual use, the change in overall texture and application will be significant.
I highly recommend this product. No sting, smells fantastic and I want a body version of this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this new REVITALIFT Laser night cream from L'Oréal. I was fortunate enough to be chosen to trial the pressed night cream with retinol & niacinamide and l am so glad that l was!
I'll start with the very impressive, eye catching packaging. Once opened l really loved the pump action dispenser, no more cream under the fingernails!
Upon first use l thought the perfume was a little strong but upon application l found it to be very pleasant. After introducing the cream to my skin as directed by the trial instructions, l was delighted to find that my skin looked and felt noticeably firmer after only the second week. I really like this product and will continue to use it. I did have some initial concerns, as l do have very fine and sensitive skin but l need not have worried. I had no reaction other than smoother, tighter and younger looking skin.

This product does work!

I like the container it comes in because all you have to do is press the top and it releases just the proper quantity of cream for that night. For the first time I have used such a unique innovative packaging. It is quite interesting. A lot of thought have gone behind it, for sure. It's a light weight cream that hydrates without becoming oily. After using this, I've found that my skin is much softer and that I use less moisturiser in the morning. I also have the other creams in this line and have noticed that my skin looks much better after using them. I have already recommended it to my family and friends.

Game Changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was delighted to receive this product as a trial in the mail. I use a high strength retinol at the moment which I use 3 times a week. I found with this product that I could use this nightly.
The smell and texture is very nice, a pea size amount is all you need I found this amount covered my face and neck amply. The price on this product was a great surprise, is worth what you pay, packing is excellent and a decent size.
I would highly recommend giving this a go especially for any new to retinol products and are unsure. I found I could use this every night, and after one week of use I have seen a great improvement with my skin.

Easy pump action product

I used this product at night and it left my skin super hydrated, smooth and firmer and I noticed wrinkled or fine lines less visible . I will continue to use this product and any product from L’Oréal Revitalift laser line. I would also recommend this product to family and friends and anyone else who wishes to use it.

Ideally I would have liked a longer trial period as was only given 3 weeks to use this beautiful product. I eagerly introduced it to my nightly routine following the recommended application directions. I loved the easy way to dispense the cream with a measured amount dispensed perfectly with each pump. It glided so effortlessly on to my skin with no irritation or redness experienced. my skin felt nourished, soft and hydrated even only after a few applications. fine lines and dark skin spots did appear to fade somewhat after a short period of use and I look forward to more fantastic results with prolonged use. wonderful price point and an essential addition to a mature skin moisturising and firming routine. Reduces fine lines and pigmentation
This is a great night cream that is suitable for sensitive skin. It contains retinol and any concerns about irritation and drying skin out don’t apply, this is a really gentle cream. I love the pump bottle and a single pump dispenses just the right amount of product making it so easy to use and there is no waste or mess. The cream itself is so silky and smooth and feels lovely on my skin, it’s really light to wear and there is no greasiness. I have noticed a difference in my skin since using this cream, my skin feels smooth and hydrated and I have noticed fine lines and pigmentation are definitely less visible. I love L’Oréal products and am really impressed with this cream and I will continue to use it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed trialing the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Retinol + Niacinamide Pressed Night Cream, I regularly use retinol in my skin care routine, so I was able to skip some of the slower buildup recommended by L’Oréal in their instructions after I patch tested it.
I was really impressed with how hydrating this pressed cream was! While I use both retinol and niacinamide regularly I’ve never tried a product that contained both those key ingredients – and what a difference it makes in how hydrating it is! I’d definitely recommend this to new users of retinol as the addition of niacinamide really off-sets the usual drawbacks and side effects of using retinol.

Highly Moisturising Night Cream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Product! Highly moisturising night cream with light fragrance which promises to deliver some powerful results. The cream absorbes well into the skin with a great lid dispenser to give the perfect amount each time. Suitable for dry, sensitive prone red skin with no reaction, tingly or burning feeling. Moisturising effect lasts for hours and love that it has retinol which gives the fresh and toned appearance. Will be great to use over winter to keep my skin hydrated against the elements. Great price for a night cream with so many added benefits, a must for anyone to keep the skin looking at their best and prevent further damage from aging, sun exposure or drying out. Will continue to use the cream each night and looking forward to its benefits (especially in my late 30's)

Nourishing and Refreshing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This night time moisturiser is incredible! It gives such a nourishing and refreshed feeling as soon as you apply it to your skin. The instructions of a pea size amount is definitely accurate as it is enough for your whole face. It is lightweight and has more of a serum texture to it which I absolutely love!
I have very dry skin but after using this moisturiser my skin has become more hydrated and has made such a difference that my makeup glides on in the morning!
I have had compliments about my skin being more glowing!
