- If you pay this price Chemist Warehouse’s pharmacy software will record the eligible patient contribution towards your PBS safety net for the PBS prescriptions supplied.
DISCOUNTED PBS PRICE
- If you have a Medicare Card you are entitled to receive medication at this price.

MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.
PHARMACIST ONLY MEDICINE
- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

- This prescription item is Schedule 8 and can only be supplied on a script from a registered doctor in Queensland.

The Vicks WarmSteam Vaporizer provides natural steam therapy.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Refer to the Vicks WarmSteam Vaporizer Operating Manual for full instructions for use and care.
WARNING: Keep out of reach of children.
Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission of steam.
Do not direct steam flow directly at patient, walls or furniture.
Steam can cause burns. This appliance is not intended for use by children without supervision. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
When handling the steam unit, grasp from the rear of the steam unit.
Do not overfill. Do not use any other brand of inhalant as it may damage the unit and void the warranty.

It helps combat excessive dryness – especially in winter where heating robs the air of moisture – helping keep the throat and nasal passages hydrated. Using the Vicks WarmSteam Vaporizer overnight ensures sleep is more restful and breathing easier.

The Vicks WarmSteam Vaporizer is easy to use.
1. Fill the water container to the MAX water level
2. For added comfort, pour Vicks VapoSteam Inhalant or Vicks VapoSteam Double Strength directly into the water or into the vaporizer cup
3. Place the vaporizer into position
4. Plug in and switch on power

If you have a baby id recommend this
A mum friend convinced me to get this and I'm so pleased I did as my bub got sick about 2 weeks later and we had it ready to go. Its really good. Not overpowering as I thought it would be but enough in the air to help the bub sleep. We have it on again tonight after her picking up another daycare cold!

Too large, difficult lid and cumbersome to use
This vapouriser is quite large, cumbersome in size and difficult to put thenlid back on.
It has to filled to the near top which makes it heavy to carry, there is no line to indicate when it's full or below full. It will not turn on if its not full. I mistakenly bought the vapopods not liquid for this machine so you do have be careful. Even if I were to buy the liquid vicks it would be messy due to itbsotting in the designated handle scoop. I wish I had a bought a smaller, easier version with the pod usage for less mess
