How does SilicolGel work?

Gastrointestinal disorders are usually caused by irritants and toxic substances as well as pathogens. When the gastrointestinal tract is disturbed by these toxic substances and pathogens the digestive tract can’t function normally.

Silicol®Gel has a unique mode of action – it physically adsorbs or binds to most irritants and toxins in the gut. Once attached to toxins, they are rendered harmless and can be removed naturally through the intestines and out of the body.

Silicol®Gel’s?therapeutic action comes from the large and reactive surface of colloidal silicic acid which is negatively charged. This negative charge means the gel acts as an adsorbent – a bit like a magnet - for irritants, toxins and pathogens, which are positively charged.

Active Ingredients: 3.5 g Silicon dioxide in 100 mL Silicol®Gel.
Preservatives: Sorbic acid, Sodium benzoate.

Shake sachet well before use, tear perforation to open. Take 1 full sachet (15 mL) 3 times daily, an hour before meals.

Make sure you leave?a gap of at least 1 hour before or after taking other medications.

Can be taken either undiluted or diluted with water.

USAGE ADVICE

Silicol®Gel can be taken either undiluted or diluted with water.

If initial symptoms worsen or have not reduced after three days, consult a doctor.

Treatment can continue for up to 4 weeks as required. With diarrhoea, it is necessary to replace lost fluids.

Silicol®Gel should be taken with a gap of at least 1 hour before or after the intake of medicines, otherwise their effect could be impaired.

I normally don't struggle with gastro issues from change of diet while travelling but this time? OH DEAR. I didn't think I was going to be able to leave our hotel room at all and a precious day would be wasted but the Silicol started working in about 20ish mins! Silicol saved the day!

No more panicked drives to work and needing to pull in somewhere immediately - not the first IBS medical relief I have tried, however so far this has been working the best :)
