MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

Delicious!

Sweet option for the little one

Great flavours!!

Its a great smooth texture, easy to squeeze into his mouth or onto a spoon. I love mixing these with other foods for a bit more lumpy texture. The texture is real smooth and knowing the content is without and preservative and hassle free available and ready to serve is a bonus. The best part about these pouches is the percentage of fruit in clearly mentioned on the back so its easier to make decisions when purchasing them and feeding bubs.

Yummy and nutritious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little girl is exploring all the different possibilities of foods, flavours and taste and the RAFFERTY'S GARDEN APPLE, BANANA AND PEACH was one that she had to get used to, but eventually loved. With its great mixture of fruits, smooth texture and easy twist tops it is easy to use, store, feed when out and about or busy,and being pure fruit, I know my little girl is having a healthy start. She loves it and I'll definitely be getting it again!

Great for starting solids!

Good small meal

I love that it has the transparent window at the bottom of the pouch so Mums can see the contents & consistency before purchasing. It is easily found at supermarket aisles.
It is so convenient and handy to have this food pouch kept in the nappy bag for when you’re out longer than planned and bub’s meal time had crept up. You can feed it as it is or mix a little bit of rice cereal onto it for some carbs. Bubs absolutely loved the taste!

Handy snack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pouch has big portion size for a baby. I don’t need to use a whole pouch in one go as there is enough for two portions. That’s where these twisty caps come hand and can be put in the fridge for later. It does have a lot of natural sugars and it gives my daughter a sore tummy if she eats too much fruit purée. It’s easy to use and keep in the bag for emergencies as it doesn’t need to be refrigerated until open and you don’t need to use a spoon if your child is happy to eat from the packet. I prefer homemade but these are good for emergencies and if you don’t have time.
