MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

Blackmores Echinacea Liquid
Echinacea purpurea is traditionally used as a powerful enhancer of the immune system. Blackmores liquid Echinacea provides supportive therapy for colds and chronic infections of the respiratory tract.
Echinacea has been extensively investigated and is known to have a variety of actions on the immune system, including elevation of serum white blood cell count (when numbers are low), promotion of non-specific T-cell activation (leading to a range of other activities including increased activity of natural killer cells and stimulating the release of interferon), enhancement of macrophage activity, as well as having antibacterial and antiviral properties.
This high dose product is indicated for the relief of symptoms of infections, particularly those of the upper respiratory tract such as colds and flu.

Active ingredient per 1mL dose:
Echinacea purpurea (Echinacea)
dry whole plant 1g (1000mg).
使用方法
Adults:
Take 1 to 2mL by measure three times a day, or as professionally prescribed.
Children 6-12 years:
Take 0.5 to 1mL by measure three times a day, or as professionally prescribed.
Children 3-5 years:
Take 0.5mL by measure three times a day, or as professionally prescribed.
Not to be taken by chidlren under 2 years.
N.B. 25 drops is approx. = 1mL.

Great for the immune system
I have used this liquid echinacea several times now to recover from a very lengthy cold or flu. Once again I’ve found it very affective at resolving it. On a side note, please be aware it has a very bitter taste. Best taken with juice if you struggle to take bitter supplements.

Never go without it
This is a staple in my medicine/supplement drawer, I make sure I never run out. As soon as I feel a cold or sore throat coming on, I take a few drops in water - if I'm quick enough, it will stop it in its tracks!

Miracle in a bottle
Years ago, my friend told me to try this echinacea so I bought some and I can’t live without it now. The first sign of sickness I take this and it goes no further! My immune system is strong now. I used to always get sick. Not anymore! This stuff is a miracle worker! I buy it for my friends and family too. Love it!

Stops colds in their tracks!
I have been using liquid echinacea for the past 3-4 yrs and have found it invaluable. Whenever I feel a cold coming on, I take some and usually it will stop the old in it’s tracks. I haven’t had a cold at all this winter thanks to this magic stuff.
