MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.

MOVICOL-Half is a gentle, effective treatment for constipation and faecal impaction. Indicated for use from 2 years of age.
警告
The fluid content of MOVICOL Junior Lemon-Lime when re-constituted with water does not replace regular fluid intake and adequate fluid intake must be maintained. Adverse reactions are possible as described under Adverse Reactions. If patients develop any symptoms indicating shifts of fluid/electrolytes (eg. oedema, shortness of breath, increasing fatigue, dehydration, cardiac failure) MOVICOL Junior Lemon- Lime should be stopped immediately and electrolytes measured, and any abnormality should be treated appropriately.
The absorption of other medicinal products could transiently be reduced due to a decrease in gastro-intestinal transit time induced by MOVICOL Junior Lemon-Lime (see Interactions with other drugs).
As with all laxatives, prolonged use is undesirable and may lead to dependence. If prolonged use is necessary, it should only be under medical supervision. Patients should be advised to drink plenty of water. They should also increase fibre in the diet, except in the case of medication-induced constipation.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Movicol Junior is used in children aged 2 years and older and adults for the treatment of chronic constipation. Constipation is the less frequent than normal passing of large, firm or hard stools. Movicol Junior helps you to have a comfortable bowel movement even if you have been constipated for a long time.

Contains: Each sachet contains 6.9 g of powder.
使用方法
Chronic Constipation/Prevention of recurrence of faecal impaction: Children aged 2-5 years: The usual starting dose is 1 sachet daily. Children aged 6-11 years: The usual starting dose is 2 sachets daily. The dose should be adjusted up or down as required to produce regular soft stools. The maximum dose needed does not normally exceed 4 sachets daily. Use in children aged 2 years and older should be limited to 12 weeks except under medical supervision. Movicol Junior is not recommended for children below 2 years of age. Adults and children 12 years and older: The recommended dose of Movicol Junior is 2 sachets a day. This can be increased up to 6 sachets daily if necessary, depending on the severity of your constipation. For chronic constipation the dose may be reduced to 1 sachet daily, according to individual response. For patients 12 years and older using 2 sachets daily or more, it is recommended to use Movicol.
