MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

For the removal of common and planter warts
警告
For external use only, for common and planter warts. Do not use on lips. Do not use continuously for more than two weeks, at any one time, unless on medical advice. Do not use if you are a diabetic, have impaired circulation nerve damage, or had a previous operation in the area around the wart face. If unsure talk to the pharmacist or consult a doctor. Do not apply to broken skin, moles, birth marks or unsual skin growths.Wart Off Stick may cause skin infection, discontinue use if this occurs and consult a doctor. Do not use on babies or very yound children unless under the care of a doctor. Do not apply to your face or genital areas. The product contains Salicylic acid that may produce a burning sensation on the skin to destory the wart tissue. if the burning becomes problematic wash under cold water thoroughly and apply an antiseptic cream. In case of accidental oral ingestion of the stick seek medical advice immediately. Wart Off Stick is flammable - keep away from naked flames or fire.

Wash affected area. Soak wart in warm water for 5 minutes to soften. Dry area thoroughly. Cover the top of the wart with a thin layer of wart off stick. Avoiding contact with surrounding skin to avoid damage to normal skin. Cover the wart with a waterproof plaster so the wart is unable to breathe. do not leave the wart uncovered. repeat once daily until the wart has cleared. replacing the plaster as required. Should the condition persist consult a doctor.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago for a plantar wart on my foot.
Even with it being in an awkward spot and the bandaid constantly falling off, this medicine has worked extremely quickly. Yesterday a large portion of the wart came off, and it is almost all gone. Painless and quick.

I did as the instructions, maybe left the wart soaking for a few minutes longer to really soften it and have already noticed overnight results. It has shrunken considerably and will be off in a couple days.

I had a really inconvenient wart on my elbow about 13 years ago, everything doctors prescribed made it bigger. Ended up having it frozen at the hospital every 2 weeks until it was gone. For some reason, it came back a couple of months ago, so I purchased this with hopes of it doing something. Was not expecting the amazing results that I got, especially within a week. No pain, no inconvenience (apart from needing to soak my elbow, not as simple as the hand or foot), no need for doctors!

Fantastic product!
Bought this to get rid of some plantar warts Miss 7 had picked up. Used at night only, covered with big bandaids and after about 2.5 weeks of regular use, warts are all gone. Pain free and easy to use. Would be great if it came with a small applicator, but we improvised with cotton buds and cuticle sticks.

Great product very effective
The product was very effective and killed my wart in a matter of days. It was easy to use and was just a simple cream which you can easily apply onto yeh affected area. The only issue with the cream is that as it requires the use of a bandaid to be placed over the cream so it is airtight the cream is very lubricating so my only issue I found was that the bandaid would need constant reapplying but other than that I’m very satisfied with the product.

Alright for kids didn't work for adult feet
Kids brought planter warts home from swimming lessons. This stick worked for them although slowly. I've been going for about week and it doesn't seem to be doing anything for me although I have rubbed the dead skin down as instructed.

How was this approved
I made the mistake of buying this over the normal paint on product. It is very difficult to add to a small wart. Just imagine using lipchap to add to a small area.
Yes, it does work, which brings me to the 2nd point. How can you put an acidic product into a package which is identical to a lip product. It tells you not for lips, but if its lying around, its very hard to discriminate between it and a sunscreen or wind balm stick. This product should not be on the shelf.
