MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.
PHARMACIST ONLY MEDICINE
- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

Bepanthen First Aid cream is effective for the treatment and prevention of infection in minor cuts, wounds, abrasions, insect bites and minor burns. The smooth consistency allows gentle application onto damaged skin to help soothe the wounded skin.

Clean the wound and surrounding skin and apply Bepanthen First Aid liberally to the affected area ensuring the cream completely covers the wound. For minor burns: Immediately apply cold water for at least 20 minutes prior to applying Bepanthen First Aid cream.

Bepanthen First Aid is free from all colours and fragrances.

Do not use if seal is damaged or missing.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, ears and mucous membranes. If in eyes, rinse well with water. Mild irritation may occur; stop use if it becomes severe.

Purified Water, Liquid Paraffin, Soft White Paraffin, Dexpanthenol, Cetyl Alcohol, Wool Fat (Anhydrous Lanolin), PEG 40 Stearate, Stearyl Alcohol, Chlorhexidine Hydrochloride, Pantolactone.
CONTAINS
Chlorhexidine Hydrochloride 5.5mg/g.
使用方法
General use: Clean the wound and surrounding skin and apply Bepanthen First Aid liberally to the affected area ensuring the cream completely covers the wound. Application may be repeated if necessary.
Minor burns: Immediately apply cold water for at least 20 minutes prior to applying Bepanthen First Aid cream. For the first aid treatment of minor burns only. Seek medical advice for serious burns.

My daughter put me on to this cream as it was recommended to her after she had a tattoo done on her arm & the tattoo artist said this Bepanthen cream was the best for tattoos but I wanted a cream that is very effective & have spoken to many people who have used it & all had good results.

An All In One Beneficial Cream
I’ve been using this for years for many different applications & never been disappointed,
As it is antiseptic in firm of a moisturising cream it’s great to use on those “ouchy” wounds or sensitive areas. Some applications I’ve fiund highly beneficial are after a tattoo, sunburn, chapped lips, dry wounded skin.
I’ve never had a negative result ysing this product & highly revommend it as a staple in your medicine cabinet

my families used Dettol antiseptic cream for many years, but Dettol has stop this product line since two years ago. I bought Bepanthen instead as a replacement, overall it works, but found it leaves my skin bit oily and doesn't take effect as quick as Dettol does. Dettol cream dries quickly without a greasy feeling and heal my skin at same day i applied, but this one may take few days
