MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

一般信息
Zaditen Sterile Eye Drops is preservative free and can relief in minutes that lasts up to 12 hours for itchy, allergy eyes.
Zaditen eye drops are for short term treatment of the symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis (itchy, watery or swollen eyes and/or eyelids). They get to work within minutes and the effect of one dose lasts for 8 to 12 hours. Suitable for adults of all ages and for children from 3 years of age.

If you are pregnant or may become pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
Do not use if blister is torn.
Contains no antimicrobial agent. Use once only and discard any residue.
For external use only.
成分
Ketotifen (as Fumarate) 250µg/mL. Each mL contains Ketotifen Fumarate 345µg corresponding to Ketotifen 250µg.
使用方法
Adults and children 3 years and over: Squeeze 1 drop in affected eye(s) twice a day. Not to be used in children under 3 years of age. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before using Zaditen drops. Wait for 15 minutes after using the drops before reinserting your contact lenses. See leaflet inside.
After first opening the inner blister, the single dose units can be stored for 3 months in the carton or for 4 weeks out of the carton. Store below 25°C.

Not great, wouldn't buy again
These drops were ok for settling allergy eyes however the vial that they come in is terrible. Some you remove the top and the opening isn't even big enough to get a drop out. Other vials are ok, so I've wasted half of them. Plus once a vial is open you can't put the top back on in case you want to do another drop shortly afterwards. You are only supposed to use one drop in each eye yet the vial contains probably about 4-5 times that amount. Such a waste. I won't buy again. I've gone back to my previous brand which are half the price and jsut as good.

Single use vials very wasteful
I had to buy these overly packaged eye drops because the 5ml bottle was unavailable. Don't be fooled. Wrap it in foil after use and you will get days out of it rather than single use. Both the pharmacist and specialist optometrist told me this. Apart from the wasteful packaging it is a good product.
