MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

It’s the best Saint John’s wort

I use Thompson 4000 St Johns Wort as it is a powerful dosage that relaxes and helps me chill out. I find this dosage economical as it’s only requires one a day ( if needed) .A quality product from a proven,reliable company. It’s periodically discounted at Chemist Warehouse which I look out for .

Could not live without it!
I have been using the Thompson's brand St John's Wort 4000 for 4 months now, and it is just amazing. Originally I started with a different brand, and it took about 3 to 4 weeks for the effects to fully kick in. With the other brand I had difficulties swallowing the tablet and nearly gave up until I tried the Thompson's brand. No issue in swallowing, no side effects, and I can stay away from the prescribed medications. I take two tablets a day, morning and night, and this definitely takes the 'feeling fragile' to 'I can cope'. I wish I could have discovered this many years ago.

Smooth sailing with Thomson’s one-a-day 4000mg tab
These Thompson’s One-a-day St John’s Wort are excellent. I had noticed mood swings during COVID and decided to start taking St John’s Wort again to help with the problem. Initially I told another branded lower dose tablet but wasn’t happy with the results. I did some research and found theses higher dose tablets which have definitely been helping me to maintain a smoother mental plain. An excellent product.

Does what is says
I've been this on a month now and can feel a difference in my anxiety and mild depression. I was skeptical and thought I may need to take the maximum dosage (2 tablets) if I felt no changes after 1 month. The changes are subtle but enough to know they are working for me. I've had St John's wort before but with other brands I've had to space the tablets out 3 X daily. With this one, I just take one in the morning and I'm good to go. It just gives me that little bit of motivation I was lacking and helps me to stay positive. I will take this as long as I need. It's that good. It's helped me release a lot of stress I was holding onto and as a result I'm losing much needed weight that I previously struggled with. Totally recommend if you are feeling stressed, tired, anxious and just blah.

Thompson's St. John's Wort is the strongest of this product available through chemists. It's also good value for money, and is often on special through Chemist Warehouse. It's a great option for helping to deal with anxiety as well as the winter blues.
