MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

FLO Sinus Care is a sinus wash designed to relieve congestion caused from:
- Sinusitus
- Chronic Rhinosinusitus

It is also ideal for Post Operative care.
FLO Sinus Care is a non-medicated, preservative-free, isotonic irrigation solution for washing the nasal passages and sinus cavities. It's gentle to use and helps thin mucus and clear irritants to relieve congestion.
When a sachet of FLO Sinus Care is reconstituted, it produces a solution which closely resembles the body's own extra cellular fluid, so it's natural and gentle to use.
The FLO Sinus Care's bottle is designed to deliver a high volume - low pressure irrigation solution - this helps improve the effectiveness of washing the nose and sinus cavities.
Good results depend on regular washing of the nose and sinuses. Use twice daily or as directed by your healthcare professional. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare professional.

使用方法
First time use: Thoroughly wash the bottle, tube and cap with warm soapy water before use.
Fill the bottle to the FILL line using lukewarm pre-boiled water.
Cut or tear open one sachet of FLO Sinus Care powder. Using the guidelines, fold out sachet into a funnel shape and pour the entire contents into the FLO bottle.
Screw the cap and tube firmly onto the bottle and shake until all powder has dissolved. The mixture is now ready to use.
Standing next to a basin, bend as far forward as is comfortable and tilt the head down so that the chin is as close to the chest as is comfortable.
While breathing through the mouth, apply the cap firmly up against one nasal passage and squeeze the bottle steadily and gently until solution drains from the opposite nasal passage. Continue until about half of the solution has been used. Repeat on other nostril with remaining solution.

Sick of feeling like you've been dumped by a salty wave after using nasal irrigators?
This sachet has 4 good ingredients that do successfully mimic mucous, doesn't have that got swimming pool up your nose feeling, and they are cheap for a good supply.
Some of the competitors sachets do not have the same formula.
The flo bottle is also easier to use and clean than a netti, especially if you have mobility issues.
