Opti-Free PureMoist is a multipurpose disinfecting contact lens solution containing Sodium Citrate, Sodium Chloride, Boric Acid, Aminomethylpropanol, Sorbitol, Disodium EDTA, two wetting agents (Tetronic 1304 (Tetronic is a registered trademark of BASF) and HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix [(EOBO - 41- Polyoxylethylene-Polyoxybutylene)], with Polyquad (Polyquaternium-1) 0.001% and Aldox (Myristamidopropyl Dimethylamine) 0.0006% Preservatives (This patented formula is only supplied by Alcon).

Opti-Free Pure Moist Economy Pack is a multi-purpose disinfecting solution that removes lipid and protein deposits daily.

HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix is a proprietary wetting agent that keeps lenses moist for 16 hours.


How it works:


1. In the lens case, HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix embeds itself on and within the lens surface to keep lenses moist and hydrated throughout the day.


2. HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix provides a cushion of moisture for comfort from insertion to removal.


Opti-Free PureMoist Multi-Purpose Disinfecting Solution contains HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix that provides 16 hours of lens moisture keeping you comfortable for the entire day.


Biocompatible Dual Disinfection.


Polyquad and Aldox preservatives enhanced disinfection formula has activity against bacteria, fungi and Acanthamoeba that can cause eye infections.


16 hours of Lens Moisture.


For optimal lens moisture, hydration and cleaning, fill the lens case with fresh solution every time lenses are stored. Never reuse solution. This will help achieve maximum lens surface moisture for all day comfortable lens wear.

It is essential that you follow your eye care professional's directions and all labeling instructions for proper use and care of your lenses and lens care products, including the lens case. Do not reuse or "top o " solution in the lens case since this may reduce e ective lens disinfection. Eye problems, including an infection or corneal ulcers, can develop rapidly and lead to loss of vision. If you experience persistent eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, or redness of the eye, IMMEDIATELY remove your lenses and consult your eye care professional as the problem could become more serious.

Follow These Directions for Use: • Thoroughly wet each side of the lens with OPTI-FREE PureMoist Solution. • Rub each side of the lens for 10 seconds (for a total rubbing time of 20 seconds). • Rinse each side of the lens for 10 seconds with a steady stream of OPTI-FRE PureMois Solution (for a total rinsing time of 20 seconds). • Fill your Alcon Contact Lens Case with fresh OPTI-FREE PureMoist Solution. Store lenses in the closed lens case overnight or at least 6 hours. After soaking, lenses are disinfected and ready to wear. • If any debris remains on contact lenses, rinse with OPTI-FREE PureMois Solution prior to insertion. You may leave your lenses in the unopened lens case containing OPTI-FREE PureMoist Solution for up to 30 days. After this time, your lenses must be cleaned and disinfected with OPTI-FREE PureMoist Solution prior to wear.

I’ve never needed to try others as it’s always remained such a wonderful no fuss easy cleaning contact solution for all of these years and I love getting the travel bottle each package which is brilliant for those quick trips away when you just want to travel light. The replacement lens case is also a win (albeit more plastic but I can’t image anything else you could use to replace it)
