MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

Nicorette 16hr Invisipatch Patches Step 1 25mg are for smokers of 15 or more a day.
Nicorette 16hr Invisipatch patch is a quit smoking aid.
Nicorette 16hr Invisipatch patch works by relieving nicotine cravings and withdrawal symptoms. A higher dose patch is used first followed by lower dose patches for up to 12 weeks.

Nicorette Combination therapy: If you have relapsed with single nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) or if you have cravings during use with single use NRT, you can use Nicorette 2mg Gum, in addition to Nicorette 16hr Invisipatch patch for better craving relief. This may increase your likelihood of quitting.

For use by Adult 18+ who:
Smoke more than 15 cigarettes a day.
For how long:
Weeks 1-8. Then use the 15mg/16hr patch.
How to apply:
1. Wash and dry hands thoroughly before and after use.
2. Apply to clean and dry skin using a different part of the body each day.
3. Remove plastic coating. Do not touch sticky surface. Press patch onto skin for about 10 seconds.
4. Run finger around the edge of the patch to ensure seal.
How often:
Apply 1 patch every morning to skin of the thigh, hip, arm or chest. Remove the patch before going to bed.
For Combination therapy: Use patch as directed and aim to chew at least 4 pieces (maximum of 12) of Nicorette 2mg Gum a day (see back of Gum pack). After 12 weeks reduce use of Patch or Gum (see pack insert).

Choose nicorette
The nicorette 16hr invisipatch step 1 nicotine patches have been relieving the cravings for a cigarette. There has been no side effects.

I smoked a minimum of 15 cigarettes daily for 45 years.
Thanks to nicorette I ceased smoking immediately on applying the first patch.
I highly recommend nicorette as being 100% effective.

The best!
Nothing worked for me until I found Nicolette,
I easily slept, had minimum to no withdrawal symptoms, they didn’t irritate my skin & I easily stepped down in patches in compared to any other product on the market.
I Would recommend to anyone.

Quit for Life
I have been using a combination of the Patches and Quick mist for the last 7 weeks I used the patches to Gradually ween myself of the Cigarettes' over 4 weeks until I stopped. Then began using Quick mist as well to help me with the cravings, Its been 3 weeks now since I've had a Cigarette. It wasn't easy but I could never have done it without your products and the help of a local Cessation nurse. I smoked Cigarettes' for over 35 years and now I have never felt better already Thank you. Now I've Quit for Life
