MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

What is TearsAgain?
TearsAgain is applied onto closed eyelids to hydrate dry eyes and reduce moisture evaporation. It's gentle on sensitive eyes, and suitable for use with contact lenses and eye makeup.
Each spray of TearsAgain® applies liposomes onto the eyelid's margin. When blinked across the eye, TearsAgain® stabilises the eye's lipid layer.
TearsAgain® can be used for environmental related disorders such as dry eyes, strained eyelids, foreign body sensation and burning or itching sensations of the eye.
How does TearsAgain work?
TearsAgain targets the cause of dry eyes rather than just the symptoms. It helps create lubrication between the eye and the lid, repairing the lipid layer.
What causes dry eye?
Long periods of screen time as well as infrequent or incomplete blinking
Wearing contact lenses and even environmental conditions such as dry air and wind as well as irritants like dust and cigarette smoke
Some medical conditions, medications and your age or lifestage (menopause) can lead to Dry eye disease.
What does TearsAgain do?
Stabilise the lipid layer at the lacrimal film
Regulate and improve humidification of the eye's surface
Reduce excess tear evaporation
Improve lubrication of the eye
How does TearsAgain work?
Symptoms: Dry & irritated eyes can be caused by a deficient lipid layer, causing excessive water evaporation from the tear film.
Application: When the eye is closed the lipid layer is pushed together & the liposomes from TEARSAGAIN® mix with the eye's natural lipid layer to help make up for these deficiencies.
TearsAgain® repairs the eye's protective layer by lubricating & hydrating the eyes, reducing excessive evaporation of the aqueous layer.

Tears Again is an easy and effective way to treat dry eye. When sprayed onto a closed eyelid, Tears Again stabilises the outer layer of the tear film. This helps reduce excessive tear evaporation and provides lubrication for itchy eyes.
Each bottle of Tears Again contains over 100 applications. Unlike many eyedrops, Tears Again does not have to be thrown away after 30 days - in fact, it is good for up to 3 years even after opening.
There is no need to remove contact lenses when applying Tears Again.

Read package insert before use. Store in a cool dry place. Keep out of reach of children. Can be used up to 6 months after first use. Do not use after expiry date.
TearsAgain should not be used simultaneously with eye medicine. Should eye drugs other than TearsAgain be used, observe an interval of 10 minutes between the two applications. Read package insert before use.

This is a spray that you use on closed eyes and instantaneously you feel it's soothing ingredients go to work to bring you relief. Plus no nasty preservatives. Highly recommended.

Never going without
I recently bought this product to use as my eyes were feeling uncomfortable at day end working from my computer. 1-2 sprays on each eye a few times a day and I can honestly say my eyes are much less irritated! No more rubbing, no more dry eyes, no more red eyes. I am never going without this product. It has formed a part of my daily routine.

Wonderful product that really works!
After having cataract surgery, I experienced severe dry eye symptoms. Despite using eye drops of all kinds the condition didn’t improve. However a month of using Tears Again brought great relief. I continue to use Tears Again daily to maintain my eye health.
