PRIVATE PRESCRIPTION PRICE

- If you hold a Medicare card and a valid concessional benefits card you are entitled to this price.
- If you pay this price Chemist Warehouse’s pharmacy software will record the eligible patient contribution towards your PBS safety net for the PBS prescriptions supplied.
DISCOUNTED PBS PRICE
- If you have a Medicare Card you are entitled to receive medication at this price.
- If you pay this price Chemist Warehouse’s pharmacy software will record the eligible patient contribution toward your PBS safety net for the PBS prescriptions supplied.
MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.
PHARMACIST ONLY MEDICINE
- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

- This prescription item is Schedule 8 and can only be supplied on a script from a registered doctor in Queensland.

Instant Ice is a non-refigerated instant ice pak. This product is ideal for immediate first aid use for scalds, minor burns. It helps relieve headaches and migraines, numbs the pain and can ease discomfort. • Instant Ice is not reusable.

Precautions: Use only as directed. For external use only Misuse of the product or prolonged contact with the skin can cause frostbite To prevent the risk of frostbite: Wrap the product with a towel if using directly with the skin for prolonged periods of time or if the area of treatment feels too cold Discontinue treatment if the area of treatment feels numb or uncomfortably cold The product should be used with careful supervision with children under 12, the elderly and physically disabled. Cannot be used on children under 1 year Ingredients can be harmful if ingested or come into direct contact with the skin or eyes If the inner contents is swallowed, drink water and seek medical attention Do not open, cut or pierce product Do not sit, lie or otherwise expose the product to excessive pressure Do not eat the product Do not use if you have nerve damage or sensory impairment Do not use on areas where cold cannot be felt Do not refrigerate or freeze the product Do not attempt to reuse by refrigerating Do not use whilst sleeping Do not use the product over creams, rubs or lotions rubbed on the skin
使用方法
1. There is a liquid sachet contained within the product 2. Locate the inner liquid sachet and squeeze firmly to rupture 3. Shake to mix contents until cold 4. For strains, sprains, bumps, bruises, muscular back pain ideally apply within 5 minutes of injury for 20 30 minutes and repeat as required with a fresh pack every 2 3 hours whilst awake for the next 24 48 hours. 5. Allow skin to return to normal temperature between treatments. How does Kool n Soothe Instant Ice Pack Work? By combining the inner liquid with the contents of the pack a reaction is activated to create an instant icy cold pack.
