MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.
PHARMACIST ONLY MEDICINE
- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

- This prescription item is Schedule 8 and can only be supplied on a script from a registered doctor in Queensland.

Elastoplast Adjustable Ankle Stabiliser, with extra side stabiliser, helps provide rigid support and protection to ankles. The adjustable strap and fasteners give you a custom fit to help prevent re-injury and the universal design is for both right and left ankles.
The Elastoplast Adjustable Ankle Stabiliser provides rigid support and stabilisation for stiff, weak or injured ankles. The reinforced side stabilisers prevent unwanted lateral motion, giving ankles the support they need to assist in recovery. The adjustable straps make putting this ankle stabiliser on and taking it off easy, whilst also providing a personalised fit. The Ankle Stabiliser Brace also provides warmth and compression to aid blood flow and the healing process – particularly important during periods of activity. Made of breathable polyester, nylon and spandex, the brace is able to fit both the right and left ankle comfortably and can be worn all day under shoes. Adjustable straps allow for a custom fit and support in the areas where it’s needed most. Designed to Fit Sizes Range: 20.3cm – 25.4cm.

As it says. It is a stabilizer and it is great during the first weeks of the Sprain Ankle and if you are planning to do some high impact exercise later on. Not recommended to use all the time for long period of time or your recovery will take longer.
It is comfortable and durable. Good value when you buy it 50% off

Bought a few years ago for the first time when my daughter ankle started hurting whilst playing Netball, but then the other ankle started to aswell and couldn't find another the same so used 2 different types of ankle support.. she ended up swapping them around each time because which ever ankle didn't have this one on would be still in pain after playing.. finally got her a second one and now I make sure I order 2 each time in advance as she won't wear any others to play and umpire her Netball games. 3yrs now and just Bought 4 set as they do wear at the feet overtime.
