- If you have a Medicare Card you are entitled to receive medication at this price.

MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.
PHARMACIST ONLY MEDICINE
- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

- This prescription item is Schedule 8 and can only be supplied on a script from a registered doctor in Queensland.

Robitussin Cough & Chest Congestion contains both a cough suppressant which helps quieten the cough for up to 8 hours and an expectorant that thins mucus so it is easier to cough up. This combination works together to help control an irritating persistent cough with occasional phlegm. *Sugar Free; Non-Drowsy; Child Resistant Cap; Free Measuring Cup; Vanilla Cherry Flavour
警告
Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Stop use and consult your doctor if you have a cough that persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition. In case of overdose, stop use and immediately contact the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 13 11 26, New Zealand 0800 764 766) for advice.

Each 10mL of oral liquid contains: *Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 30mg; Guaiphenesin 200mg

DOSE: Every 6 - 8 hours orally when necessary, max 4 doses in 24 hours
Adults and Children 12 years and over: 10ml
Children 6 - under 12 years: 5mL

Effective and good value
Works really well and gives relief from coughing. I used it for the lingering cough after being sick, didn’t find it lasted 8 hours, but noticed a real difference for 4-6 hours.

We've tried so many over the years as both my teenagers get chest congestion with their cough everytime they get sick.. This is what they say is one of the worst tasting one's they've had, but it works and that's what matters most.

Good product but..
It's a good product during the day where you're up and down and active. It relieves that nasty tickle that causes a cough but when I used it for night time sleeping, I still had coughing fits. I Didn't have that wet cough but incident relieve a cough I had that I could feel in my chest of that makes sense. Least I didn't have the tickle in my throat.

Tastes so bad
Worst tasting cough syrup I have ever tried (vanilla cherry flavour specifically)
Didn’t suppress coughing. The taste alone is enough for me to beg others to reconsider purchasing this.
