MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

At Nurofen, we know happy kids are playful kids, but sometimes, pain & fever gets in the way. Nurofen for Children Soft Chewable Capsules contain ibuprofen for the temporary relief of pain such as headaches, ear aches, cold & flu symptoms and even reduces fever. Soft, chewable capsules are great for on-the-go pain relief and can be taken without water.
You do the fun and games, we'll do the headache, pain & fever relief.

Nurofen For Children 7+ years for headache, pain and fever relief. It is easy to chew, no need to take with water.
Nurofen for Children 7+ years Soft Chews can be used for children from 7 to 12 years for the temporary relief of mild to moderate pain such as a sore throat, dental pain, ear ache, headache, minor aches, sprains and strains and pain of cold and flu. Reduces fever.
警告
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Do not use:
- In anyone with asthma, except on doctor's advice.
- In anyone with a stomach ulcer, impaired kidney function or heart failure.
- If allergic to ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory medicines. In case of an allergic reaction, stop using and see your doctor immediately.
- In children 6 years of age or less, except on doctor's advice.
- In adults 65 years and over, except on doctor's advice.
- During the first 6 months of pregnancy, except on doctor's advice. Do not use at all during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
- For more than a few days at a time unless a doctor has told you to. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Excessive use can be harmful and increase the risk of heart attack, stroke and liver damage.

The product should be chewed before swallowing. Do not give to children under 7 years of age. Each capsule contains 100mg ibuprofen. Also contains glucose, sucrose, soya lecithin. For oral use. For short-term use only.
USAGE ADVICE
Age: 7 years-10 years, Dose: Two capsules (max 8 in 24 hours)
Age: 10 years-12 years, Dose: Three capsules (max 12 in 24 hours)
Doses should be given approximately every 6 to 8 hours (or with a minimum of 6 hours between each dose if required).
Children should take plenty of fluids.

Low dosage but effective, as always, being nurofen
Effective but low dosage. I got these for my son who uses too much of the liquid but the dosage on these is a bit ridiculous too. He needs to take at least 4 by his weight. Wish there was a stronger dosage amount for those who don't swallow pills.
