MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.
PHARMACIST ONLY MEDICINE
- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

I can breathe again!
My husband got me this while I was sick and wow! Why did I not know about this. It instantly opens up my nose and relaxes me. I also found it helped soothed my dry cough a little. Vicks is the only think I have found that helps relax my hayfever too so now I'm going to take this inhaler everywhere.

Clears the nose alright!
I’ve been using the Vicks vapour stick (along with Vicks First Defence nasal spray) at work.Now that masks aren’t mandated the masses don’t want to wear them, masks are not cool, worrying about covid is not cool so instead of answering questions about why do you still want to wear a mask I just don’t at work and instead inhale my Vicks stick deeply in front of them (and hope for the best cold-wise) and no-one has said anything about it to me!… Vicks stick and Vicks nasal spray are much ‘cooler’ than a mask apparently. Thanks Vicks!

This thing has lasted me 18 years
So I had really bad blocked noses as a child. So my mum bought me this thing back in 2001. And lately my nose has been stuffy with the cold weather so I dug it out. And it still works. After 18 years. Gets my rating.

Definitely recommend trying this product
I had a lot of ENT issues as a kid and I remember my mother giving this to me. As an adult, it is something I always have on hand. It's easy to use, compact, good value for money, and it's effective! One inhaler also lasts a long time. I use this on my own kids now as it's quick to apply and leaves no residue on their skin + it's easy enough for them to use independently.

Normally I don't write too many reviews unless something has blown me away. A couple of days ago, my sinuses started acting up and I became very congested to the point that my whole face was aching. While I will say that this inhaler is only a short term treatment, it did open up my sinuses for a minute to allow me to blow my nose.

This product don't work.
I've used this inhaler to get relief from a stuffy nose, and with over 2-3 days of usage. I didn't get any relief.
