MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.
PHARMACIST ONLY MEDICINE
- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

一般信息
Deep Heat Heat Patches provide targeted, sustained, long lasting and soothing temporary pain relief of back pain, muscular aches and pain, joint stiffness, strains and sprains. Comfortable to wear, this heat pad applies directly to the skin and can be worn unnoticed under clothing to provide all day relief.
Heat therapy increases blood flow to the affected area providing oxygen and nutrients to aid the muscle healing process.

警告
DO NOT USE
- Whilst asleep or with prolonged pressure against patch.
- On infants, children, or persons unable to remove the patch on their own.
- On the same area for more than 8 hours in any 24 hour period.
- With other skin medication or heat sources.
WARNINGS
- All heat patches have the potential to cause skin irritations, burns or blisters.
- Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs or the patch gets uncomfortably hot.
- If you are diabetic, pregnant, have poor circulation, nerve damage, a skin condition or an allergy to sticking plasters, consult your doctor before use.
- For external use only. Do not ingest as the ingredients can be harmful. If swallowed or contents come into contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek immediate medical help.
- After use, dispose in normal household waste.

Iron Oxide is used in the Deep Heat Regular Patches to provide a soothing, long lasting warmth. When in contact with air, it heats up within minutes.
使用方法
Use on clean dry skin. Do not use on the face or on broken skin, bruises or swellings.
- Tear open plastic packet, remove protective film from patch and apply patch to the affected area, adhesive side onto the skin.
- For delicate or ageing skin, apply adhesive side of patch to clothing.
- On flexible joints use dressing tape to hold the patch in place.
- Do not bandage over the patch.
- The patch will heat up after 5 minutes and remain warm for up to 8 hours.
- Use only one patch in the same area in 24 hours.
- Single use only. DO NOT attempt to reheat in oven or microwave.
- Do not cut, massage, fold or wet the patch.
- Do not use if patch is damaged or torn.
- To remove, slowly peel off the patch.
