MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

使用方法
13 years to adult: Small scoop - into 200 mL glass. Large scoop - into 600 mL drink bottle. Complete tub - makes 30 Litres. Place quantity as above into fresh drinking water. Shake or stir to dissolve. Drink according to the dosage shown below. Discard unused solution after 10 hours.
BEFORE & AFTER Physical Activity Take 200-400 mL Hydralyte Sports within 2 hours prior to and after activity to help establish healthy hydration status.
DURING Physical Activity
Low to moderate intensity: Consume 200-400 mL Hydralyte Sports every hour of physical activity.
High intensity activity or profuse sweating: Consume 400 - 800 mL Hydralyte Sports every hour of physical activity. Regulate consumption in response to thirst and other signs of dehydration (dry mouth, fatigue, headache, dark yellow urine, muscle cramps). Consume drinking water, in between doses, if required.
Maxiumum Daily Dose: According to body weight:
(<60kg) - take up to 3 x 600 mL doses per day during activity
(>60kg) - take up to 5 x 600 mL doses per day during activity, or as directed by your healthcare professional, For long term use, seek advice from a healthcare professional.

Like the product but missing features
I liked the actual product taste and the extra minerals in the sports version. I do find the flavour maybe a bit more salty or sour than traditional hydralyte but not by much and if it was bothersome you could dilute it with a bit more water. However my tub was missing a scoop and any sort of sachet to keep the contents dry. As a result I have to just guess how much to mix in with my water so I don't know if I am putting in too much or too little still, and about 2 weeks after opening the contents began to clump due to not having a sachet to keep it dry inside. This is pretty disappointing from a brand I trust and for a product that is quite expensive as I am not going to be able to use all the product now due to the clumping issue. Would rate 5 stars if these issues didn't exist but rating it 3 as these issues make it more of a 1-2 star product for me personally
