MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.
PHARMACIST ONLY MEDICINE
- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

Spandex Gel Cushion Arch Supports are a comfortable thin, elastic, breathable, stretch polyfitted sleeve with an imbedded soft Gel Arch Pad to Cushion and support the arches of your feet and give you relief all day long from Plantar Fasciitis, overpronating, heel strain, heel pain, arch pain and other arch collapsing discomfits. Spandex Gel Arch Cushion can be worn however you wish inside shoes or sandals, barefoot or under socks. Gently slides over your forefoot and the gel arch pad nests in the space under the arch area giving you massaging support and proper alignment of your feet. Attractive nude colour for fashion. Thin design can be worn in any shoe. Durable and reusable, handwash with warm water, airdry. Not reccomended if your have diabetes or poor circulation. Even includes a handy little nylon mesh bag so you have it with you at all times and it wont get lost; very discreet and thoughtful.

Wear however you wish; inside the shoes, barefoot, undersocks, or with sandals. Gentle slide over your forefoot and nestle the arch pad into the space under your arch. Handwash in warm water, rinse well and air dry.

GREAT ARCH SUPPORT
I suffered major burns to my feet as a young kid and experience significant discomfort when standing for any prolonged period of time. The worst of the pain resides in the metatarsal region. I also have flat feet as a result of my feet being literally cooked in boiling water at the time of my injury. I purchased a pack of these at the beginning of November, 2020 - together with Gel Metatarsal Cushions. I based my purchase on other reviews here on Chemist Warehouse - although I was dubious whether these would help me. I am pleased to say that these cushions provide me with major relief and have given me a new sense of hope. These slide on over your foot like a sleeve. The gel pad inside the fabric sleeve sits against your skin and grips there very well. The manufacturer has created a very practical product that is easy to put on, take off - as well as wash and reuse by way of a "washing bag" included in the box. I give this product a full 5 Stars - and would add there are a couple of alterations that could make this product even better: 1. A diagram would help people better understand how to wear these. 2. Or even better, labelling L for Left and R for Right. 3. Different Sizes - I am a size 12 Mens, so while I love the product, a larger size would be more appropriate for my feet.
