Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic for blonde highlights too! I have brunette hair and about a year ago started getting blonde highlights done. For the first few rounds, I could not figure out why I left the salon with blonde highlights, but about a month later I was sporting more orange-y highlights. I googled the answer and apparently I needed to use a 'purple' shampoo (which I had thought was just for 100% blondes or greys). Picked up this one and the corresponding conditioner and wow, did it make a difference. My orange-y highlights went back to blonde after a couple of washes. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will always be a staple I have been using this shampoo for a little over a month now, and can confidently say that this is the first purple shampoo (at least in this price range) that I genuinely noticed a difference after using. My hair is much brighter and this produce helps keep the brassy tones gone in between visits to the hairdresser. Now that I've tried this, I think my very long hunt for the best purple shampoo is over. Being blonde, my hair is often quite dry, but after pairing this with the purple conditioner, my hairs much softer and gets less knotty throughout the day.
