MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.

Bellamy’s Organic Baby Rice is a pure simple cereal of soft rice flakes with the added benefit of GOS to support the health of the tiny tummy. Mildly flavoured and smooth textured, our baby rice is an ideal way to start your baby on solid foods. It is quickly and easily mixed by simply adding water or baby’s usual milk. With added iron, no added salt, sugar, flavours or additives, you can be sure your baby is only getting the natural goodness of organic grains. To boost the flavour or variety of this meal, fruit purees make for an excellent addition.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
Mixing Guide
1. Always wash your hands before preparing food for your baby.
2. For each tablespoon of cereal, add 2 tablespoons of cooled, boiled water, breast milk, or formula. Breast milk contains enzymes that make the cereal 'watery'. This is perfectly safe to use.
3. Mix to a smooth consistency. Mash out any small lumps with the back of a spoon.
4. Gradually increase amount given and thickness of the cereal over time, depending on your baby's appetite.
Always check the temperature is safe before serving.

We used Bellamy's for our first and now with our second. The baby rice mixes so well and you're not left with any lumps like a lot of others we have tried. We are almost on to the next stage for our little princess and can't wait to try her on more of the range.

This cereal is great, I love that you can start using it from 4 months! It's smooth and baby seems to enjoy it! It is the closest thing I have found to pablum. It's at every shop and is super affordable. I look forward to using the other Bellamy products.

It is so great and smooth And baby love this one so much no complaints and he finish all. It is easy to make. So good and healthy ingredients. Mixing guide is there so it is easy for mum to measure it correctly. This one contains probiotics as well which is great for babies.

It is good brand just using Bellamy's organic products and feel they are so good for babies. I give baby sometimes in a week so that baby can enjoy something good it is really great. My baby loves this but you just need to finish in 1 month after opening.

Perfect way to start soild
Baby rice- so easy to prepare, just add a water or you can add breastmilk or formula to make it more nutritious. Rice cereal is very good to start solids- i did that with both my kids and they both loved it- also its quite good for kids to learn how to use spoon.

Perfect start
My son loves this! His very first time tasting solids he ate the full bowl! I mixed his formula in so he had a similar taste and haven't looked back! It's great for his breakfast and introducing other flavours such as carrot, pumpkin ect.
Super easy to make!
I wouldn't follow the instructions as the ratio seems wrong with it being way to clumpy but we have worked out our own consistency and what works for us!

We have this daily in our house, served every morning for breakfast with fruit and some prune juice mixed through it to avoid constipation. I love that it's organic and contains a probiotic for good gut health. It's easy to mix to baby's liking. Would obviously be a bit bland on its own but would be ok for initial first food on that basis. Highly recommend.

Great starter food
My baby (4.5 months) seems to enjoy to rice cereal. I tried 2 other rice cereals and likes the consistency better. Some other brands if Bub takes more then 8 mins to finish it, the product starts turning watery. The product easy to use, made in Australia, organic and made with probiotics. Great for starter food.

First Foods
The first time I used Bellamys Baby Rice Cereal I mixed it according to the instructions and found it to be very thick and Bub found it a bit hard going. Consequently, I now mix it thinner with formula and Bub loves it. It has also been great to use when Bub has had an upset tummy with the peace of mind that even though they may only be having a little, it is fortified with prebiotics, iron and vitamin C.

Tried and Loved
After doing a lot of personal research based on the following criteria, we found Bellamy's Organic Iron Fortified Cereal for 4 months plus the ideal solution for our baby when starting solids. The criteria we decided to work on was that
1. We wanted low to no sugar
2. We wanted a cereal that had no unnecessary additional ingredients
3. We wanted an Australian product with the bulk of ingredients sourced in Australia. This cereal was the best option to comply with the criteria we had set. Baby loved it in time after plenty of exposure to this food.

Great on its own or as an additive
This rice cereal is the best I've found so far. With the addition of iron and probiotics, I know my bub is getting what she needs.
I have fed this to bub on its own, but I've also added it into home made purees and she loves eating it both ways.
Definitely recommend as a first food for babies.

This is organic and natural and easy to find in supermarkets and chemists. This rice cereal can be mixed with breast milk, formula or water. It's made of soft rice flakes and has added iron which is a good thing about it. It's affordable and therefore offers great value for money as well. The texture is smooth so it's good for starters. My baby loves this. However it tastes bland which can be adjusted by adding fruit purees when they are introduced to the Bub.

I bought this for my grandson to help with his immune system he was always getting sick and this was a really great option to feed his little body with probiotics to help in the future. It's full of really good ingredients and you can also add other extras into it for them if they get a little bored with it

This porridge is so good for kids I used to buy it for my son when he was younger it is full of goodness no hidden nasties and has probiotics in it wich was a bonus for my son constantly being sick all the time it helped a lot rather than giving probiotics itself that are so expensive , organic is definitely the way.plus is really good with added fruit

Fantastic product
The Bellamy's Organic rice/porridge range has been used continuously in our house since my little one started solids. This range are easy to make, a good texture and consistency which is easy to adjust to Bub's liking and can be made with water and/or breastmilk which allows it to be made exactly how Bub prefers. Highly recommend this product along with the other rice/porridges in this range.

The very first solid we gave our son. He tried this when he was 4.5 months old and he accepted it well. Texture was really smooth so its good for first timers. Win win as it is organic and has prebiotic in too! It is bland and we will try it with stewed fruits next time.

This was a good option to have when first introducing baby to solid foods. I didn't like the idea of starting baby off on bland foods so I would mix this in with vegetable and fruit purees to bulk them up and make them more filling. It was nice to have an extra option but I preferred the oats of this brand as they were more filling (had a higher calorie count).

This was the first solid food that I introduced to my babies.
I choosed it mainly because it's organic with no nasty ingredients in it. The flavour is really bland. Perfect and gentle on those little tummies. They seemed to enjoyed it. Later on works perfectly mixed with blended fruit or veggies.
It's Australian made so number 1 preference. The price is good as well. Definitely recommend.

I love the bellamys organic range! And this product is great having probiotics in it giving it nutritional value for your little ones! I always add a little bit of bellamys organic as puree in your add a little bit of flavour to it! And my girls enjoyed the texture a lot! It's a good transition food

We loved it
This was the first thing i tried my baby on other then formula. At first she didn't like it, then i added the Bellamys apple/banana puree and it is now a favorite daily. It has to be mixed really well and quickly to avoid the lumps. You can make it more or less runny depending on how your baby takes to it. I love it and will continue to use it

Great for bubs!
This is an awesome cereal for first starting solids. I like to mix it with pureed fruit which bubs loves! Easy to make up and is enjoyed by my baby very much. I think the value for money is quite good - seems to last quite a while. Plus I like the fact it is organic too.

LOVE THIS BABY RICE CEREAL! This was one of the first solids we tried my bub on and it was great! It was super gentle on his stomach and I love that you can make it to your desired consistency. He seemed to enjoy the taste (after the first few mouths). I love that it is made in Australia and is super cheap, considering it is organic! This is my go to rice cereal.

I love the Bellamy's range as it is organic, well priced and made in Australia. This was my go to rice cereal with my second child and i will be using it again when number three joins us later in the year. It is a great first food and can be mixed with breastmilk or formula.

My bub loves eating the normal baby rice cereal and ones with added pumpkin in it. Her day starts with it by adding formula, fruit and water. So easy to eat and quick to make. I sometimes add it in veggies to thicken it up as rice substitutes and baby loves it too. It's such a relief to see that your child is getting the best without any nasty stuff
