MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.

Bellamy’s Organic Baby Rice is a pure simple cereal of soft rice flakes with the added benefit of GOS to support the health of the tiny tummy. Mildly flavoured and smooth textured, our baby rice is an ideal way to start your baby on solid foods. It is quickly and easily mixed by simply adding water or baby’s usual milk. With added iron, no added salt, sugar, flavours or additives, you can be sure your baby is only getting the natural goodness of organic grains. To boost the flavour or variety of this meal, fruit purees make for an excellent addition.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
Mixing Guide
1. Always wash your hands before preparing food for your baby.
2. For each tablespoon of cereal, add 2 tablespoons of cooled, boiled water, breast milk, or formula. Breast milk contains enzymes that make the cereal 'watery'. This is perfectly safe to use.
3. Mix to a smooth consistency. Mash out any small lumps with the back of a spoon.
4. Gradually increase amount given and thickness of the cereal over time, depending on your baby's appetite.
Always check the temperature is safe before serving.

great breakfast staple
Bub loves it, I mix 2 tablespoons with 7 tablespoons of formula to get a nice texture and add a scoop of probiotics. Perfect breakfast staple food for introducing babies to solids.

Our boy didn't love it
Unfortunately this is one of the rare Bellamy's products that our boy didn't like so much, I think possibly the flavour was a bit plain for him, he's very big on flavours and strong tastes. He usually like porridge's and oats but just didn't seem to take to this one.

We started with this rice cereal with both our kids and they both loved it. Love that it's organise and has no added nasties. It quick and easy to prepare and a great base to add other things too as Bi moves onto more complex tastes. Love the resealable bag. Highly recommended in our home.

Great start to solids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bub tried this product as one of our first foods in the transition to solids. It’s got great iron content which is perfect for trying to reach the recommendation daily intake for young babies. However I did find that even when prepared as per instructions it becomes quite thin once baby’s saliva mixes in with the product.

Good first food
First thing I gave my baby mixed with breast milk and he loved it. Easy to use and mix with fruits/puree to give them more body. No need to worry about any reactions to begin with as its a very plain addition to the little ones diet. Would recommend for first time eaters!

This Bellamy Rice for 4 months is great for baby's when they are trying foods and starting to have solids. It is great texture and I found my child liked the taste. Its easy to buy anywhere and I love how it's very simple to make and lasts for sometime.

Really good product is very bland in flavour which is expected however very good for babies first food mixed with their formula and my daughter enjoys it smashes it down loves learning and helping feed herself definitely would recommend for babies having their very first food as it is very easy for them to eat without chocking on it

First food
Tried this as a very first food for my little one. He seemed to enjoy it. It can be made up to the consistency you desire based on baby's age. So you can start with it a bit thinner and runnier and then gradually make it thicker once bubs is getting used to thicker textures. The only thing is bub moved on from this stage quite quickly so we ended up not using the whole packet. I ended up adding it to pancakes etc to use it up. It's a good source of iron for little one.

Great for starting on solids
I used this rice cereal on my first child now on my second child from the age of about 4.5 months. Its a great cereal to start them off on solids. Its easy to make and I love how it has a resealable pouch so you know its safe to use again. Both kids loved it

Bought this when my bub had first solid at 5 months old and he didn't like it by itself. I think because the taste was bland, so I added some fruits/veggies into it, and he likes it. It was easy to mix with water/milk and the texture was smooth, perfect for the start solid.

My friend recommended Bellamy baby rice to me. I always used it as additional content to the fruit and vegetable purees. One teaspoon is enough to add thick texture and my baby really enjoys it. It's easy to make also if the baby food purees are dominant in one taste it reduces that.

Good choice when starting solids
This was one of the first foods we introduced to our son. It was easy to make using cool boiled water and we were able to make the consistency just right for him. He wasn't a fan of the taste by itself and would turn his head but with some added pureed apples or pear for flavour he would eat the whole bowl full happily and I would feel confident he was having a food that would help fill him up whilst providing good vitamins as well. I would recommend for a first food.

Good source of Iron
I introduced this Iron fortified rice cereal to my son when he started solids. As a hypoallergenic food and a good source of iron it was one of the first foods I introduced. I have continued to add to his vegetable and fruit purees as an extra source of iron. this particular variety of Milk & Vanilla mixed in well with fruit and porridge for a new flavour.

Probiotics for the win!
So i got this as one of the first meals that i gave to my little one alongside the oats and porridge and found it great, what was a bonus as well is that it has probiotics in it. I didn't think that there were any products out there with probiotics. It's really great that it has it, however i found that my little one didn't take to the taste very well. Not too sure whether it was because of the probiotics, but definitely not a favourite in taste, but a favourite for probiotics.

Fantastic product
I usually like products that are organic, most specially if I'm giving it to my baby. I used this bellamy rice product to feed my baby back then. I mixed it with some fruits or vegetables just to have some flavors and to have that thick consistency baby food meal and child loves it then.

This was a great first cereal when introducing our son to solids. We tried mixed with water and breast milk and much preferred my milk. It has a bland flavour but we have mixed in other fruit pouches for flavour. We even mix in but butter to test his allergies. So far he is very happy and has a big serve for breakfast.

Baby rice that's easy on baby's tummy
I add some of the baby rice to purees I make and my baby loves it. There's not much flavour and so it's easy to add to foods without altering taste. The added probiotics and fact that it's organic makes it a winner for me. I highly recommend this for parents starting to introduce food to their bubs.

The Bellamy's Organic Baby Rice Cereal is a good first food for baby. I used this with my first and will do so again with my second. I really like the addition of a prebiotic for gut health. There has been talk in the media about a Chinese dairy company acquiring Bellamy's so I hope the food quality stays the same if this happens.

Easy to prepare
All my three kids started their solids intake with Bellamy's rice cereal as it is organic and easily digested. I was recommended the brand by my sister and I even buy in bulk for her baby when we visit them overseas. Right now I buy the rice cereal to bulk up bubba's soups and cereals as it's bland. More probiotics, the better.

Prebiotic is good for the baby. So I chose this for my Bub and he likes it. it comes in a Zip lock on top so it stays fresher for longer. Easy to store and yummy in Taste. I will definitely buy it again to keep it in stock. Please don't discontinue this product.

This was my babies first taste of solids. He was just over 4 months and was easily able to 'eat' this at that age. It mixed up into a smooth consistency. It does not have a whole lot of taste so when he turned 5 months we moved him up to the porridge.
