MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

The Perfect Prep Day & Night Baby Bottle Maker is a dream machine which preps the perfect baby bottle in 2 minutes with added features specifically designed to make night feeding so much easier and quicker. The bottle maker machine is suitable for most brands of formula milk and has an adjustable base to accommodate different bottle sizes and shapes. How does the Perfect Prep Machine work? Scoop your desired amount of baby formula into a baby bottle and place in the Perfect Prep™ machine. An initial 'hot shot' of water at 70°C is then dispensed killing any bacteria that may be present in the formula as well as helping to dissolve the formula quickly and easily. Give the bottle a quick shake, then place it back under the dispenser to be topped up with cooler water. The built-in filter system removes impurities from the water, and the touch-sensitive button dispenses the precise amount of water needed from 4oz to 11oz. The result - a fresh baby bottle at body temperature - perfect, just like breast milk. How do I care for my Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Day & Night Machine? This easy to use bottle preparation machine will display a notification on the screen to indicate when you need to run a cleaning or descaling cycle and when it's time to change the filter. It is extremely important that you only use Tommee Tippee antibacterial Perfect Prep Filters with the Perfect Prep Machine. Our filters feature a unique filtration membrane to remove bacteria and other contaminants that can be found in water. Most standard water filters do not include an anti-bacterial filtration membrane so will NOT remove bacteria Can I control the volume on my machine? To control the volume on your Day & Night Machine: 1. Press and hold the forward button for 3 seconds, then release and a setting icon will then appear. 2. Scroll through the settings using the back and forward buttons until you reach the volume control. 3. Select this setting and adjust volume using the back and forward button.

Lifesaving machine for bottle feeding mums!
I purchased the tommee tippee perfect prep machine second hand prior to birth as a back up option, and it has been a lifesaver. The machine offers various bottle size options, and begins by boiling the water, followed by topping up with cold water. The machine allows you to mix the formula while making the bottle, or you can add the formula later. I use the machine to prepare bottles in advance and also prepare the correct amount of formula in containers. It is the best investment I have made!
