MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.
PHARMACIST ONLY MEDICINE
- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

If you experience persistent eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, or redness of the eye,
stop using GenTealTM Lubricant Eye Drops and consult your eye care professional as the problem could

PRECAUTIONS
Ophthalmic use only.
Check if the bottle seal is intact before first use. If already broken or damaged do not use the product.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
GenTeal* drops is a sterile, slightly hypotonic aqueous eye drop containing hypromellose 0.3%.
The GenAqua* preservative system contains sodium perborate and diethylenetriamine pentamethylene phosphonic acid.

Hypromellose 3 mg/g, sodium perborate 280µg/g as preservative, sodium chloride, boric acid, potassium chloride, diethylenetriamine pentamethylene phosphonic acid, hydrochloric acid and water for injections.
使用方法
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
• Wash and dry your hands before use.
• Gently pull down the lower eyelid with your index finger to form a pocket.
• Place one or two drops into the pocket made by the lower eyelid (avoid touching eye with dropper
tip), and blink several times.
USAGE ADVICE
Contraindications:
Do not use this product if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients.
Once the bottle has been opened, discard any remaining product after 12 weeks. Do not use the product after the expiry date.
Close the bottle after use.
Storage Temperature: Below 25°C.

Everything that Fabienne D said!
Great product but I ended about writing to Alcon about the reduction in size of product & the larger box - as for the price being reduced (Alcon's justification) the price went UP in some chemists from $9.99 to $12.99 - thus Chemist Warehouse gets my custom! Why a 10ml box requires a larger box than a 15ml box - well you can only guess!!!

Lower grade
Its not just the quantity (15 ml to 10 ml) that went down but also the quality.
Previous versions of Genteal were preservative free but now it has preservatives so it can't be used as frequently as before as per my eye doctor.
