MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.
PHARMACIST ONLY MEDICINE
- This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine and requires pharmacist advice before we can dispatch this product. You must first place the order and then contact our pharmacists within 48 hours on 1300 367 283.
The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.
This is not required if you have a doctor's prescription.

hit with the little one
taking this out on a warm summer day, these are best kept cold, or freeze the day before to defrost when out and about. the little one gobbled it up quickly and it was refreshing and tasty. looked super yummy without all the usual nasties. The oats are smooth and creamy and not as lumpy as i thought it would be

Absolutely loved it
This pouch was a big hit with my son. He absolutely loved the taste and the experience of eating it from the pouch. He couldn't get enough of it and wanted more once he had finished.
I felt good in feeding him this knowing that he was getting only good healthy food and no added sugar. We will definitely be buying this again.

Great little food pouch
The Heinz® Smoothie Pear Berry & Oat + Greek Style Yogurt food pouch was really convenient and easy to use. I tasted it myself before giving it to my 10 month old daughter and the texture was thick and it had a pleasant taste without being too sweet. I really appreciated how easy it was to use, and I liked that it had oats for added nutrition. I would have liked to see the fiber content though on the nutrition label. I added the pouch to my daughter’s morning oatmeal instead of adding fresh fruit, and I found this saved a decent chunk of time.

It’s in a great little handy pack that you can squeeze straight onto your spoon when you’re out and about. Little man loved it. It does say no added sugar but there is a bit of sugar in there for an eight month old I would use them again but not regularly knowing how much is in there as I do like to make my own anyway.

Tasty food that my daughter enjoy
I was concerned that the yogurt pouch wasn’t refrigerated, however it seemed fine when we trialed it. The smoothie does have sugar, which means my daughter loved it, but concerns me. Overall though, if we are only consuming this every now and then, it was good.

I gave this to our grandson to try, at first he was a little hesitant of the taste and made faces, but did end up finishing the whole pouch.

I liked it,my child not so much
I thought it tasted great but my child had a couple mouthfuls and unfortunately that's all , I think it might have been a bit sour for him. But then again if I try couple days later he would probably eat it . I have a picky eater unfortunately

He's loving his introduction to solids, can't get enough of the bottle, and greedily gobbled up Heinz® Smoothie Pear Berry & Oat + Greek Style Yogurt Baby Food Pouch. It was conveniently packaged, easy to dispense into a bowl or directly onto the spoon. It got eaten without crying, refusal or complaints which is good. But at the end of the day, for what you get compared to what you pay it really is a rip off, when you can cook similar at home, in bulk, and save yourself a fortune. These are ideal for 'away from home'.
