MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

The pharmacist will determine if this product is appropriate for you and if so, approve the order. In the event that you do not do this, the product will be deleted from your order and the balance of your order will be dispatched.

Gentle Chemical Exfoliant
I love trying different cleansers and was looking for one with chemical exfoliants so thought I'd try this as I love other Swisse products.
This is a very gentle cleanser which doesn't really foam up so isn't drying at all. It cleans well enough but doesn't it feel like it does enough for my oily, congested skin to use as a sole cleanser. I often double cleanse at night, using certain types of cleansers depending on what is on my face (sunscreen, makeup, extra oil/dirt). I find physical exfoliants to work better for a really deep clean, or a clay mask. I find this one okay for a morning cleanse.
I think it would be perfect to use for those just starting to use chemical exfoliants and/or with sensitive skin.

A great cleanser
I love this cleanser. It foams up nicely and leaves my skin feeling soft, clean and fresh. It doesn't leave my skin tight and doesn't irritate my skin either. I love the flip top lid because it makes the product easier to use.
I have oily/combination skin so I would say this cleanser is most suited to those with this skin type.

Gentle gel cleasnser
I like my cleansers to foam lightly but not strip and not irritate. I was a bit hesitant to try this as it had glycolic acid quite high up in the ingredients list, and also had quite a few essential oils which can sometimes small overpowering and be irritating in the long term. Thankfully this cleanser was very gentle, had a pleasant mild scent and didn't even sting my eyes. It cleaned well and the glycerin still left my skin feeling hydrated and not stripped. Since I already use other exfoliants, I can't say that I can see much effect from the glycolic acid in the formula, and I wouldn't expect much from the salicylic acid it comes almost at the end of the ingredients list. I usually remove make-up with micellar water or cleansing oil and this product ticks all the boxes for me a a second cleanser and I would happily repurchase.

Keeps my skin clean!
This is a great cleanser for those who have oily and acne prone skin as it contains both salicylic and glycolic acid which helps to get rid of blemishes while also evening out skin tone. It is a gel cleanser and while it doesn't foam up that much it does leave my skin feeling clean and fresh. It doesn't dry out my skin and I find that my skin looks much better after I use it. It can remove some makeup but not all of it so I like to use an oil based cleanser first and then follow it up with this as part of my double cleansing routine.
