EXPLORE OUR POSITIONS

Our Pharmacy Assistants are here to assist our customers with their healthcare needs and to support our day-to-day store operations. Their responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Process customer purchases

  • Replenish and rotate stock, face up displays as well as check product expiry dates

  • Set up displays for catalogue promotions

  • Complete planograms and ensuring all price tickets are displayed correctly

Our Store Persons are responsible for managing all incoming stock deliveries to the store on a daily basis. Their responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Mark off large volumes of incoming stock

  • Label and arrange stock as specified in planogram

  • Process invoices and credits

  • Replenish stock and maintain inventory levels

  • Repetitive movements and some heavy lifting

Our Retail Managers are required to lead a team of floor staff as well as managing the day to day operation of the pharmacy. Their responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, promote and support the retail team

  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers

  • Assist with any customer complaints

  • Principal point of contact for store and wholesalers

  • Repetitive movements and some heavy lifting regarding stock

  • Coordinate all aspects of in-store marketing

  • Maintain workplace Occupational Health and Safety

The primary role of our Qualified or Student Naturopath is to assist customers with their healthcare needs and work predominantly in the vitamins and natural health care sections of our stores. Their responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist customers with natural medicine queries

  • Provide consultations about diet and lifestyle advice

  • Prescribe vitamins, natural supplements and traditional medicines

  • Process orders and maintain stock levels

Our Pharmacists are required to perform tasks to the standards set by The Pharmacy Board of Australia, The Pharmacy Guild and QCPP. Their responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Day to day management of store, dispensary and team operations

  • Professional patient counselling and provide complete patient care solutions

  • Accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions using LOTS

  • Supervise Intern, Student Pharmacists and dispensary Assistants

  • Dispensary inventory management and order processing

  • Support and grow new business strategies

Our Intern Pharmacists are required to perform tasks under Pharmacist supervision to the standards set by The Pharmacy Board of Australia, The Pharmacy Guild and QCPP. Their responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with scripts in/out and dispensing

  • Counsel customers about medications

  • Order and unpack Dispensary stock

  • General Dispensary administration

Our Student Pharmacists are required to perform tasks under Pharmacist supervision to the standards set by the Pharmacy Board of Australia, the Pharmacy Guild and QCPP. Their responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with customer service queries

  • Assist with scripts in/out and dispensing

  • Counsel customers about medications

  • Replenish stock and maintain inventory levels

Our Dispensary Assistants are required to perform tasks under Pharmacist supervision to the standards set by The Pharmacy Board of Australia, The Pharmacy Guild and QCPP. Their responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with customer service queries

  • Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications and administration

  • Counsel customers about medications

  • Process orders & unpack stock as required

  • Update customer files

Our Head Office located in Preston, Victoria provides day-to-day operational support and specialist expertise to all the stores across Australia to ensure we deliver and achieve maximum customer satisfaction. We have multiple Distribution Centres and warehouses across many states of Australia. They are a vital contributor to our company’s success, as they ensure the distribution and on-time delivery of all our products to stores and to our customers. Our main Distribution Centres are located in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne.

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS & APPLICATION TIPS

It is important to read through the job description, this will ensure you understand what the position entails and assess whether if you have the relevant skills, experience and qualification to fulfil the required duties.

A resume is the first step for us to get to know you! This is your opportunity to showcase your skills, experience and what you can bring to the team.

Personal In formation:

  • Make sure your contact details are correct

  • Indicate your availability (all our stores open 7 days a week with late night trading)

Employment History:

  • List your current and previous work experience in reverse chronological order (most recent first!).

  • Detail the company name, your position title and how long you’ve been there (For example: April 2015 – August 2016).

References:

  • Ensure you provide at least 2—3 referees who is familiar with your abilities and can provide comments on your work performance.

  • It is important that your referees are aware and are happy for potential employers to make contact with them.

  • Although professional referees (a manager, team leader or supervisor) are preferred, but we appreciate this isn’t always possible for someone who is looking for their first ever job or someone who is re-entering the workforce after an extended absence.

Format:

  • Elaborate resumes are not necessarily a winner, as it can detract from the content. Keep it simple!

  • Your resume should be saved in either .doc .docx or PDF format to ensure we can open it.

  • Be prepared! Know the brand, understand the role and showcase your strength.

  • Get familiar with the location, plan you route and allow yourself plenty of time to get there.
